I developed a group of business cards that were given out when the products launched at an industry trade show. On one side, each card had a different benefit defined as an ordinary word, on the other side were the product name and sales contact info.
I made no direct association between the benefit words as defined and the product. I was just defining words. Any association was up to the beholder to make. The cards were a smash. They were great conversation starters and I was able to convey the benefits of the supplement while technically staying within FDA guidelines. Message delivered – and technically, no claims were made.
